I watched it yesterday and tbh idk how to feel about it... In a way, I feel like Bjorn isn't dead (it maybe happened in his mind as it as been said) but Ivar and Hvitserk cheer and drink after and I don't think Bjorn would have also imagined that... Also it's almost possible to see the life leaving Bjorn's eyes if you look closely (once again it could be in his head)

I'm confused as hell too and I really don't know if I should believe his death

I just checked the prophecy and the seer says that "one son would marry a princess and another will sell across a sea that has no tides" then Ragnar asks about Bjorn and the seer says that he was speaking about him

But the fact that the seer says "One son" and "another" is weird to me... Even if his words are not always clear, he seems to speak about 2 different people, right ?

Maybe he was speaking about Bjorn only in the second part, about the sea with no tides ? (Which would align with Bjorn selling in the Mediterranean)

And then the son marrying a princess could be Ivar if Bjorn does die ? (Maybe he will marry Katia ? I can't think of any other son marrying a princess for now)

But, if it is really Bjorn who marries a princess, I don't know. He went with Elsewith for a moment but that's not marriage... Then maybe he's alive and he will marry a princess in the next episodes and then you would be right 😊

I agree with you, I doubt his death too but as the show killed both Lagertha and Ragnar, I hope they're brave enough to kill Bjorn too

Yeah Bjorn definitely fulfilled the prophecy of sailing the sea with no tides. And I guess if the son who marries the princess wasn't referring to Bjorn the Ivar/Katia theory is definitely intriguing, seeing as there's already something of a connection between the two.

The prophecy talking about the son of Ragnar that marries the daughter of a king could be Bjorn marrying that Sami

@Darth Nihilus IV the Seer told Ragnar that one of his sons would marry a princess. This refers to Sigurd Snake in the eye. Like in the saga, or the tales of Ragnar Lothbrok, He was supposed to marry the daughter of King Aellle of Northumbria, the sister of Judith. But Sigurd died before this could happen.
