Carrie Crowley (born Caroline Anne Crowley; May 23, 1964) is an Irish actress, television presenter, director, and writer who portrayed Elisef in the History Channel drama series Vikings. She portrayed Hilde in Vikings: Valhalla.
Biography[]
Crowley was born in Waterford, Ireland. Her mother, Nodhlaig, was a teacher and her father, Con, was a garda. She has one sister nnamed Bríd. Her first stage role was in a local production of Oliver!. She graduated with a B.Ed. from St. Patricks College, Drumcondra.
Before she began a career in television, she was a primary school teacher. She began her broadcasting career on local radio in Waterform in 1991. Crowley was co-presenter of the Eurovision Song Content in 1997, along with Ronan Keating. She was one of the biggest stars on RTÉ in the 1990's. She began acting in 2008. She is known for her roles in Rásaí na Gaillimhe, Waterway, and Anner House.
Crowley has been married to Ross Kelly since February 2004.
