Biography[]
Season 5[]
Lord Cyneheard is one of the conspirators against King Alfred. He believes Alfred is too weak physically to be king. He works to convince Prince Aethelred to overthrow his half-brother and become king himself. When Aethelred changes his mind, Lord Cyneheard believes Wessex to be doomed. He is arrested for treason and tortured by Judith. He eventually breaks and reveals the other conspirators, including Aethelred as one of the leaders. Lord Cyneheard is hanged, along with his co-conspirators, but not before declaring death to King Alfred.
