  • The title references three things that happened in the episode consisting of Hvitserk seeing a vision of Thora, Torvi performing a ritual, and Oleg and his dog.
  • When Harald and Canute are joking about Canute being king, Canute says, "King Canute." This might be a reference to the Danish king Cnut "The Great," or "Knud Den Store" in Danish, who ruled as King of England, Denmark, and Norway from 1016 to 1035 AD.
