Jouko Ahola (born December 1, 1970) is a Finnish strongman competitor and actor. He portrayed Kauko on the History hit series Vikings.
Biography[]
Ahola is best known for winning both the 1997 and 1999 World's Strongest Man, and finishing second in 1998. He has also won the Europe's Strongest Man contest twice, in 1998 and 1999. He has set world records for the Hercules hold and Atlas Stones. He is one of only nine men to be a repeat champion in the World's Strongest Man competition.
In film, he is known for Kingdom of Heaven (2005) and Bad Day to Go Fishing (2009).
