Morten Sasse Suurballe (born March 8, 1955) is a Danish actor known for playing Detective Chief Inspector Lennart Brix in The Killing, X Company, Acceptable Risk, and played Earl Sigvard on History's Vikings.
Biography[]
Suurballe was born in Compenhagen and attended the Danish National School of Theatre in 1978. He was then employed at several theatre including the Royal Danish Theatre. In January 2013 Suurballe was awarded Knight of 1st Class of Order of the Dannebrog. This is a means of honoring and rewarding the faithful servants of the modern Danish state for meritorious civil or military service, for a particular contribute to the arts, sciences, or business life, or for those working for Danish interests.
