Róisín Murphy is an Irish actress. She portrayed Princess Elsewith on History's drama series Vikings.
Biography
Murphy trained for seven years at The Gaiety School of Acting. She received an IFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in What Richard Did. She is also known for her roles in The Clinic and The Lodgers.
Murphy is a supporter of human rights issues. She campaigned for a bill in support of pro choice for women inn Dublin. In 2013 she was accepted into the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
