Vik was a Danish Earl, Viking warrior, and the husband of Princess Ellisif.

Vik arrives in Kattegat to join the Great Heathen Army. He probably took part in the Battle of York.
In the episode On the Eve, King Harald kills him to avenge the offense that he did him as marrying the only women that he ever loved.
